Peas are starting to climb!

Some of the pea plants have started to climb the trellis.  They have been growing for a few weeks.  The tendril on the upper right in the photo has attached itself to the trellis.  The tendril on the upper left is still free.  A disappointingly small number of peas germinated, so I planted some additional peas last weekend in between those that did come up.  In the photo you will also see (from the left) shiso, red mustard, and dill plants that have sprouted from seeds that were produced by plants in last year’s garden.
