Peas Have Pods

The peas have been blooming for about a week, and those flowers rapidly form pods.

Although pea plants are adept at climbing the wire fencing on the trellis, they don’t always grab it without some help.  I put some orange twine string across the peas and trellis, not to support the peas, but to pull them next to the trellis so that they will attach themselves to it.  I need two strings because some pea plants are taller than others.
