Rose & Moon

I pruned the ‘ruby’ meidiland roses on Wednesday (June 12th) with the lopping pruners.  In addition to removing dead stems, I cut them back where they interfered with the cherry tree and also where they were catching my legs when I mowed.

Here is a photo from Saturday evening (June 15th) with the moon almost at first quarter.  Underexposure and flash made it possible to see flowers and moon together.
