Cabbage Seedlings

The cabbage family seeds that we planted on Friday, August 16th are coming up.  This is brisk green pak choi in the photo, but the purple pak choi, cherry belle radishes, starbor kale, and snow queen cauliflower are all sprouting too.  The mixed leaf lettuce isn’t up yet.

I’ve been watching the newly planted areas pretty closely and making sure that they don’t dry out.  It hasn’t rained much recently, so I watered the entire garden two days ago.  I watered the seedlings again tonight to keep their small, new roots from drying out.

  1. Yay! I haven’t started my Fall garden yet. I hope it’s not too late!
