Beans, Pepper, Tomatoes, Blackberries, & Tomatillos

The promised weekend rain finally showed up yesterday (Monday, Sept. 2nd), so tonight’s harvest is two days’ worth.

We’re getting fewer beans and tomatoes than we were just a couple weeks ago.  I had been leaving the tomatillo fruits on the plants, so I picked all the ripe ones tonight.  Now we just need to figure out what to do with them; our previous attempt at salsa verde didn’t turn out well.
