Beans, Tomatillos, Blackberries, Peppers, & Tomatoes

We picked vegetables tonight, for the first time in a few days.  As we move into fall, lower temperatures with highs around 70°F (21°C) and lows around 40°F (4°C) and reduced sunlight are reducing the number of veggies we harvest.  The pole beans are almost done, yielding just a few beans.  We’re still getting blackberries, almost two months after the first harvest.  Tomatillos, peppers, and tomatoes are still ripening, though I doubt they’ll set any new fruit now.

  1. Not bad, especially the blackberries!

    • Thanks! I know I shouldn’t say this, but I’m getting a bit tired of the blackberries. It’s been a week since I posted anything (working on non-garden projects) and I have such a backlog of photos to edit and words to write…
