More Carrots

It warmed up and rained, all the snow is gone, so we were able to pull some more carrots.

These are more of the ‘napoli’ variety (nantes type) carrots.  The big one on the right is over eight inches (20 cm) long and over two inches (5 cm) wide near the bottom.  These carrots are never woody or tough.  Sometimes, there is damage at the top where insects or their relatives have chewed on them.  We’ve been harvesting carrots all fall.
