A New Beginning

2014 will bring more posts about gardening, but I intend to include other interests.  What those might be depends on what I accomplish this year.  Writing even so simple a post as this one actually takes me an astonishing amount of time, so one way to accomplish more may be to write less.

One pressing concern is to find a new name for this blog.  Obviously, gardenblog2013 won’t work in 2014 for a blog that covers more than gardening.  If any readers have a suggestion, please let me know in a comment.  Perhaps it’s time to try a new WordPress theme as well; I like sight at the moment.

I don’t plan to provide as much detail about gardening this year.  If you want that, you’re welcome to start at last year’s post on planning and work your way through the year, or just browse the categories and tags in the column on the right.

I’m running quite a bit later this year than last year, but so is the weather.  Temperatures up to 50°F (10°C) and rain two weeks ago didn’t melt the snow, but even higher temps (and more rain) this week may do the trick.
