Snapdragon Flowers

I planted snapdragon ‘rocket red’ seeds in a large pot on April 21st.  I also planted some sunflower ‘dwarf sunspot’ seeds on April 23rd, but although they came up and grew, they subsequently died.

The snapdragons are now blooming profusely.  Since there are several plants in a relatively small volume (the flower pot), I have to water them often.

To me, the flowers look like crimson velvet.  There are even more flowers now than when I took the photo two days ago.
