Beans, Tomato, Eggplant, Peppers, Okra, and Blackberries

This harvest represents three days’ worth of these vegetables.  We’re getting a lot of pole beans again.  The ’emerite’ variety are still the biggest producers, but ‘Kentucky blue’ are gaining on them.

One tomato fruit managed to escape the blight and ripen.

Two ‘Takii’s ace’ and several ‘yellow banana’ peppers were quite red, so we picked them rather than take a chance on them going bad or being eaten by an insect.  We also picked two ‘ichiban imp’ eggplant and several ‘Cajun delight’ okra.  The blackberry harvest is considerably less than what it was last month.
