Loads of Lemon Flowers

My lemon tree currently has more flowers and buds on it than ever before.  I don’t know why; perhaps it’s due to the manure that I added to the pot before I brought it inside.

Usually, I just see flowers in one cluster at the end of each of a few branches, but now each branch has several clusters of buds.

We also have five small lemon fruit from flowers that bloomed in August.  There were six, but one fell off; this is common for lemons.  The small fruit that were growing in September all disappeared while the tree was still outside.  I think some animal may have taken them, although I wonder what would eat an unripe lemon.
