Basil Seedlings

The basil I planted a week ago has been sprouting over the last few days.  So far, they haven’t produced any true leaves, just seed leaves.

A few other plants have come up, because I planted the basil in the soil in a previously used pot, not in sterile planting medium.  I’ll pull those out after I’m sure which seedlings are basil.  The three seedlings in the photo are quite close together, so I probably should thin them, i.e. pull one or two out to make space for the plants that remain.
