Morning Glory Vines Run Out of Headroom

I gave the morning glory vines that are growing in a pot in my office a bamboo pole to climb a few weeks ago.  There is about four feet (1.2 m) for them to climb, and two vines have already reached the top.

Two morning glory vines have reached the ceiling.

There are about a half dozen morning glory plants growing in the pot.  Together, they produce two or three flowers every day.

These two flowers were growing on two different vines.  There was a third flower blooming above them.

Cool! Didn’t know they can grow so well indoors. 🙂

    • I didn’t know they would grow in a pot indoors either, but as they were coming up in the pot anyway (and the snapdragons in the pot weren’t doing so well any more), I figured, why not let them try? The trick with morning glory seems to be getting them to not grow!
