Basil, Tomato, Pepper, & Eggplant Seedlings

My seedlings have been growing well.  They are in front of a west-facing window, but fluorescent lights provide a total of ten hours of additional light in the morning and evening.  Without the artificial lighting, the plants would be spindly and they would all grow towards the window.

I planted basil ‘gecofure’ on January 31st and the others on March 14th.  I had been raising my plant light every day (it hangs from chains) to accommodate the rapidly growing tomatoes, but yesterday I moved the tomato pot to a lower plant stand (actually an upside-down pot) so the light could be positioned closer to the smaller plants.
