Tonight, I planted more herb seeds. These are seeds that I ordered this year and didn’t put with the other herbs, so I forgot about them last week. I planted them in the small soil blocks just like I did last week; two seeds of each variety in each of the five blocks that make up one row.
I planted three varieties of basil, ‘Marseille’, ‘cinnamon’, and ‘lime’. I also planted marjoram ‘zaatar’. These herbs are examples of one reason why I start my vegetables and herbs from seed rather than buying plants from a nursery: they are unusual varieties that I can’t find locally.
